“Five’o’Shock” was founded during our residency at Galeria Meru in Iași, where we collaborated with Radu Carnariu, Gabi Caloian, and Alexandra Ghioc on innovative projects. Among our notable endeavors were “Razboilor!”, “Galeria Intestina”, and “The Imaginary Museum of Communism”
Embodied the concept of “fastart” by transforming unconventional spaces like public restrooms into critical “scenographies” or poetic “accidents” within cultural contexts. Through mixed-media installations, such as toilet paper-shaped carpets, framed poems, and toilet brush flowers, we challenged traditional exhibition spaces. Our guests were even greeted with Turkish delight served on festive platters at the entrance, adding to the immersive experience.
